The 2019 Domaine Maestracci Corse Calvi Clos Reginu is made from 35% Niellucciu, 30% Grenache, 15% Sciacarellu, 15% Syrah, and 5% Mourvèdre. This alluring wine from the island of Corsica has a dark red color with a purple hue. On the nose, it is a mixture of red fruit, herbs and lavender along with hints of leather. On the palate, it is smooth and has flavors of raspberry, strawberry, and garrigue. This is a benchmark for the region with a great price.
