Père Labat (Father Labat) invented rum by improving his development process with the introduction of Charentaise distillation (that which is used to make the Cognac) and instead of a sharp and burning alcohol; he obtained floral and round rum. Here is the rum origin. Père Labat agricultural white rum is rich and very rustic. Have a slightly brown color, dense, and scented nose. Vibrant. Silky and very intense entry, fresh, which brings quickly a round and full body. Very vegetable finishes but guards its extraordinary intensity. "That is rum" as could have said Père Labat.
