Luxurious and opulent, Amarone della Valpolicella Classic DOCG is one of the quintessential wines of Veneto and Italy. It is the result of the vocation of the land combined with man’s technical expertise. This wine is intense ruby red with a tinge of garnet in colour. The nose has gorgeous notes of dried fruit with hints of plum and cherry. Aromas of licorice and pepper are also evident. The palate is full-bodied and elegant, round and warm with soft tannins. Excellent served with game, braised meats, mature cheese, and sweet and sour dishes.
