Domaine Courtault Michelet is a distinguished winery located in Lignorelles, one of the 20 wine-growing villages surrounding Chablis in the Burgundy region of France. The estate is a result of the 2021 merger between two family-owned vineyards: Domaine Jean-Claude Courtault, established in 1984 by Jean-Claude and Marie-Chantal Courtault, and Domaine Stéphanie et Vincent Michelet, founded in 2008 by their daughter Stéphanie and her husband Vincent. This union combines decades of winemaking expertise and a shared passion for authentic Chablis wines. Wine Description The Domaine Courtault Michelet Chablis is crafted exclusively from 100% Chardonnay grapes sourced from 30-year-old vines planted in clay and limestone soils, characteristic of the Chablis terroir. The wine exhibits a pale gold hue and offers aromatic notes of peach and apricot. On the palate, it is vibrant and expressive, showcasing a magnificent structure with flavors of lemon zest, green apple, and a distinct minerality.
