Ninth in the Penderyn Icons of Wales series, this one is named 'The Headliner' after David Llyod George (1863-1945), the only Welsh Prime Minister and creator of the Immature Spirits Act 1915, which specified whisky must be matured for a minimum of three years. Hints of red berries, strawberries and cream; a hint of cranberries, light oak and vanilla on the nose. Rich, sweet flavours of dried fruits, salted caramel, floral honey and a spicy kick of black pepper with a tannin dryness.
