Rich Sherry influences, dark fruits, dried figs and blackcurrant with spicy cloves. Thick treacle notes give way to polished oak and aged leather. The palate has fruitcake, intense spices , Seville orange and charred oak flavours. Morello cherries and liquorice give way to a charred edge and subtle coffee grounds. The finish is long and full bodied with plenty of spice and oak.
