Les Chenes de Macquin is the second wine of Chateau Pavie Macquin which achieved the prestigious rank of “Premier Grand Cru Classe” in September 2006. A family property of 15 hectares, the vineyard of Pavie Macquin is located on the highest plateau of Saint-Emilion. The clay-limestone soil rich allows for natural drainage. 93 Points - James Suckling Currants, violets, cloves, pine needles and walnut husk on the nose.
