Deep purple core with medium cherry edges and lighter rim. An array of dark fruit, very clean and precise nose that is dominated by berries. There is a touch of light spice, green pepper and menthol. Very consistent to the nose, lots of dark berries. The spice is subtle, maybe mellowed by the introduction of a cocoa nib chocolate note. Medium to light-bodied for a Cabernet, with fresh acidity and slick tannins. The alcohol is well balanced and there is no 'heat' coming from the palate. The finish is clean and lingers just slightly. A crushable wine, with a bit more depth if you give it 15 minutes and a few good swirls. Enjoy with a hearty stew or simply enjoy on its own!
