Chivas Regal XV is a 15-year-old blended Scotch whisky from Chivas Brothers, part of a house that has been blending whisky in Scotland's Speyside region since 1801. Aged for a full 15 years before being finished in Grande Champagne Cognac casks, XV layers the classic Chivas richness with an added note of soft vanilla and orchard fruit from its Cognac finish. It is presented in a striking gold-accented bottle designed for gifting and celebrating. On the nose expect honey, vanilla, baked apple, and a hint of orange blossom. The palate is soft and rounded, with flavors of honeyed malt, sultana, caramelized fruit, and a gentle spiced-oak finish from the Cognac cask finish. Serve neat, over a single large ice cube, or in a refined Highball with premium soda water and a twist of orange. It is also elegant in a Whisky Sour or Rob Roy where depth matters more than smoke. Chivas XV was designed as a more modern, celebratory addition to the core Chivas range that includes 12, 18, and 25 year old expressions. The Grande Champagne Cognac cask finish is the defining signature of this bottling and gives it a slightly fuller, sweeter profile than the 12-year-old flagship.
