Grape: 85% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon & Petit Verdot Tasting Notes: Cherry, Raspberry, Spice, Leather Casanova di Neri was founded in 1971 by Giovanni Neri, and its 155 acres are still family-owned and operated. They've had the Wine Spectator Wine of the Year and produced numerous 100-point wines. An obsessive attention to detail and a relentless drive for quality come together in wines that can charm your palate. The Irrosso is a relatively new addition to the Casanova di Neri portfolio. The wine is fresh, elegant, soft, medium-bodied, balanced with good depth, excellent tannic structure, and bright acidity. Cherry, raspberry, spices, oak, leather, and many herbs envelope the palate. It's great with steak frites, basil on a Margherita pizza, burgers, or grilled veggies.
