The term reserva is most commonly associated with red wines and typically denotes extended aging in oak barrels. In the case of this white blend from the land of Port, reserva simply refers to the use of the best Rabigato, Viosinho, and Codega grapes at Castello dAlbas estate. The wine is crisp, concise and concentrated with a white peach core backing up river stone minerlity. No sign of oak here, just darned good wine!
