This organic and biodynamic 100% Sangiovese bottling hails from the appellation of Montepulciano in Tuscany and shows off a sassy, decidedly modern style of winemaking from a region known more for traditional wines. This is incredibly charming and impressive stuff, displaying deep black cherry and black currant fruit, earthy notes of kalamata olive and crushed slate, dusty, finely-grained tannins and alluring eastern spice notes.
