Throughout the year, the Milam & Greene whiskey team travels to Bardstown, Kentucky to distill on continuous column stills using our people, proprietary mashbill and yeast strain. DISTILLATION SEASON: this 2024 inaugural batch was distilled by our whiskey team in Kentucky, in Autumn 2019 MASH BILL: Kentucky Bourbon: 70% corn, 22% malted rye, 8% malted barley AGING: This spirit was placed in char-4 barrels and aged in a U. S. bonded warehouse in Kentucky for over 4 years. 72 barrels were then selected to make their way down to Texas for batching BOTTLING: After proofing to exactly 50% ABV / 100 Proof, it was hand-bottled and labeled in Blanco, Texas TASTING NOTES Color: Mahogany Nose: Grain forward with notes of candy corn, honey, and chocolate malt Palate: Viscous palate with notes of fresh bread, malted milk balls, wildflower honey, and oak Finish: Smooth finish with notes of grain, spearmint, and cinnamon
