Lovely just-ripe red currants and raspberries on the nose are balanced by whisps of savory smoke and just a hint of gamey earthiness. Showing even more juicy red fruit and savory elements turned soil and spice, the palate finishes fresh and clean, with medium length and soft tannin. A surprisingly delicate and nicely assembled Grenache at a killer price from a reputed Chateauneuf-du-Pape producer. --Store Notes
