Grape: Sangiovese Tasting Notes: Black Cherry, Plum, Clove, Licorice Casanova di Neri was established in 1971 when Giovanni Neri acquired an estate near the town of Montalcino. In 1978, they produced their first Brunello di Montalcino. Medium to full-bodied, elegant, refined, structured, complex, and energetic, with a silky texture, bright acidity, and polished tannins. Black cherry, plum, lavender, fresh earth, licorice, blood orange, clove, and rosemary flood the generous palate. It pairs well with leg of lamb or grilled hangar steak.
