From Bodegas Manzanos, Voche Reserva 2016 is enticing on the nose with bright cherry, roasted almond nut, sweet toasty oak spice and smoky vanilla flavours generous on the palate. A powerful Rioja red, good now, better in a year or so with some time to mellow and marry. Drink or cellar to 2030. Food pairings: roast pork, venison steaks, grilled game sausages, roast goose.
