"The Reserves is a new annual release thatâs comprised of far older and fewer barrels. The inaugural edition in the series starts off strong, with chocolate-covered strawberries, Neapolitan ice cream, and cherry pie wafting from the glass. The oldest whiskey in the bottle is 14 years, and it presents as a bite of wood spice early on the palate; gradually, that softens into cooked red fruit, light cream, vanilla bean, and cocoa powder.
