In 1971, we planted 7 acres of Zinfandel on our hillsides cradling the Russian River. Today, we produce fewer than 500 cases from these now gnarled, stately vines. Our cool climate produces a uniquely lighter Beaujolais-esque Zinfandel that is a delight to drink in the heat of the summer and pairs with family feasts all year long. . Our Old Vine Zinfandel is beautifully proportioned, but purposefully restrained. It shows dark cherry and black pepper with a bright sweet tart fruit finish. Not the traditional big jammy Zin, ours pairs well with just about every food.
