Yarden Petit Verdot presents fruit notes of plum, cassis and cherry, along with characters of flowers, anise, earth, chocolate and spice. With a bit of tannic structure typical to the variety, this full-bodied Petit Verdot displays nicely concentrated flavor. While drinkable now, Yarden Petit Verdot will improve in the bottle for a few years and stay in great drinking condition for a decade and more from harvest. Try pairing the wine with a rich osso buco, mole beef tacos, or a selection of aged cheese.
