92 points Vinous. (for 375 ml. ) Copper-orange. Explosive, pure aromas of cling peach, apricot, honeyed orange, caramel, cinnamon and subtle clove. Large-scaled, luscious and mouthfilling, with strong flavors of orange, apricot nectar, vanilla and exotic guava; unctuous and clinging. I'd love to put this up against some top Sauternes. - By Josh Raynolds on July 2006. 91 points Wine Spectator. Silky, sweet and distinctive for its creamy, spicy fig and honey flavors, hinting at pineapple as the finish persists. . 91 points Wine Enthusiast. One of Australia's most noted dessert wines does not disappoint: It's medium-full in the mouth, with warming burnt sugar and meat aromas, which are followed up by apricot, peach and butterscotch flavors and a dry finish. Definitely has a buttery, oily quality to it, through and through. Needs no accompaniment to end a meal well. Imported by De Bortoli Wines USA Inc.
