100% Cabernet Franc grown in the western Loire valley. Â This site has been farmed organically since 1975 and certified Biodynamic 1998. Â Fermented and aged in amphora for two years and bottled without any added sulphur. . Energetic red fruit aromas of sour cherry, rosehip, with hints of florals. Â In the mouth this is fine grained, long and zesty with fresh acid. Â It drinks more like an elegant, cool climate Pinot Noir, without any of the expected herbal tones of Franc. Â Serious natural wine to convert the doubters.
