A lighter red with some serious substance Phillippe Vandelle's Trousseau is a great summer red option! Trousseau is native to France's Jura region, tucked between Burgundy to the west and Switzerland to the east. Vandelle's wine offers a fascinating nose of red berries, flowers, mushrooms and wet leaves. The wine is light and bright on the palate, but not simple in the least, with raspberry and strawberry closely interwoven with herbs and earth. The finish features more crunchy red fruit with a singular, pronounced minerality for a feathery red such as this!
