The Cote de Nuits is the northern of the two districts of the Cote dOr. Le Vaucrain is a 8. 75-acre vineyard in the village of Comblanchien, purchased by Louis Jadot in 1996; of this, 6. 25 acres are planted with Pinot Noir and 1 hectare with Chardonnay. The Pinot Noir is fermented in vats and then matured in oak barrels.
