The 2024 Adrianna Vineyard Chardonnay White Bones continues to be one of Argentina's most singular white wines, occupying both benchmark and inimitable status. As with its White Stones stablemate, it fermented in a mix of concrete and used 500-liter barrels, and a significant portion matured under a deep layer of flor for 16 months. A stunning and complex bouquet morphs and evolves in real time, harmoniously bringing together chamomile, arugula, dried citrus, wet stone and ginger aromas with ever-increasing amplitude and clarity. The mouthfeel attains a similarly multifaceted profile, combining a silken, enveloping power with incisive acidity and a laser-focused core of minerality that propels the long, soaring finish. Along with the Malbec Mundus Bacillus Terrae, this is routinely one of the most complex wines in the Catena Zapata stable, and it's no wonder that they are drawn from adjacent parcels at Adrianna Vineyard.
