The Wintersmiths Ice Baller Kit is an amazing device that lets you easily make crystal clear 60mm diameter ice-balls at home in your freezer. The simple sphere-making process (documented in the video below) uses directional freezing to produce a stunningly beautiful ice-ball every time. These ice-balls aren't just awesome because they're pleasing to the eye (although they totally are gorgeous - check out the picture of the ice-balls Ben has been making below). Clear ice also has the benefit of having a massively decreased rate of melting, meaning your drink will dilute at a much slower rate while remaining perfectly chilled.
