(aged in new and used French and American oak barrels for four months): Brilliant ruby. Fresh and assertively perfumed, displaying an array of red and dark berry scents and a suave floral character. Sweet and seamless on the palate, with juicy black raspberry and violet pastille flavors and an undercurrent of smoky minerality. The persistent finish shows very good focus and lift, framed by silky, slow-building tannins.
Bula is produced by the Can Blau estate. Aromas of roasted coffee, cassis liqueur, and mineral open up and intense and attractive nose. Full-bodied with a silky mouth-feel and good concentration and weight. The flavors are lasting and very satisfying. The finish is long with notes of dark fruit and minerals.
