This is the first release of the entry level offering, the 2012 Flor de Vetus made from 100% Tinta de Toro. Deep purple in color, it offers up a mildly brooding bouquet with hints of tar, chocolate, espresso, spice box, and assorted black fruits. Dense on the palate with layers of fruit, this plush, savory effort will evolve for 1-2 years but can be approached now.
Deep, black cherry color and a vibrant aroma of fresh fruit. In the mouth we find a well structured and perfectly balanced wine with an exquisite after taste.
