Deep blueberry and black-current aromas meet with touches of tar and licorice on the nose of this bottling of Petite Sirah, Syrah and Viognier. Chalky, sticky tannins frame the bold sip, where wild herbs and fennel pollen spice up the cassis core
This vintage of The Stand releases aromas of blackberry, clove and espresso with each swirl of the glass. A lush flavor profile is driven by blue and black fruits, all framed with refreshing acidity, wonderful volume and a fine-grained tannin structure on the finish. The inclusion of Murmur Vineyard and Alamo Creek Syrah from a cooler climate adds an interesting high-toned note to the experience.
