The macadamia nut, pound cake, salted butter and creamed yellow apple fruit flavors are enmeshed here, with a caressing feel on the light toasty finish. Drink now through 2015.
Guigal's Crozes Blanc is anything but the typical AC, offering a purity and freshness rarely found in whites from this region. Explosive aromas of quince, vanilla and flowers are followed by rich, persistently fresh flavors of spice, apples, and minerals, framed by Guigal's trademark silkiness. The wine is delicious to drink young, and will probably hold well for 3-5 years from the vintage.
