This is a supple, high-toned wine, hearty and rich in cherry and vanilla-laden oak. Easy to enjoy, it is fruit-forward and weighty, with a lasting hint of baking spice on the finish.
The Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is nearly opaque garnet in color with aromas of plum reduction, chocolate truffles and mint root, it has flavor of vanilla bean, sassafras, Kenyan coffee and Bing cherry. On the palate, it is succulent with powdered cacao tannins. and a savory finish reminiscent of a Serrano ham.
