This was distilled at the Hampden distillery in Jamaica in 2000. The distillery is based in the North West of the island, and is known for its high-ester rum, which is distilled in a heavy pot still, using no commercial yeasts. Pungent and distinctive, a very good rum indeed, bottled by Mezan.
