A quarter of a century since planting its first block, Teal Lake Wines remains a proud family business, under the guidance of Andrew Peace, and one of the largest family owned wineries in Australia. What started as a weekend escape transformed into the Peace family passion. Every vintage at the winery has accompanied another chapter of family life–celebrations, milestones and happy memories. Nurtured from the rich Murray River bank soil, the vineyard was established over a quarter of a century ago. From a first year grape intake of 3,000 tonne, Andrew Peace now crushes over 20,000 tons per year. While long established, the winery is utterly contemporary driven with sound business acumen and utilizing first class technology. With this combination, it’s no surprise that the winery is consistently among the top 20 performing Australian exporters and boasts a litany of awards to its name. Victorian Vineyard of the year 1997, Telstra Small Business of the Year 1999 and Emerging Exporter Award 2001 are just a few of its accolades.
