The grapes for our Merlot come from several vineyards throughout the Napa Valley. Combining the profiles of various sites, we created a comprehensive representation of this world-famous growing region. A majority of the fruit comes from the deeper soils of the valley floor, which translate to a broad mouthfeel and fleshy, juicy flavors. The cooler regions of Oak Knoll and Yountville give the bright cranberry and red raspberry character, while warmer Calistoga and Diamond Mountain fruit shows ripe, dark fruits. Together, these vineyards display the famous structure, depth and body of the Napa Valley.
Showcasing the season’s long hangtimes, the wine has a robust texture and complex structure that make it a perfect match for roasted meats, fall risottos or hearty pastas.
