“Live Each Day with the Heart and Courage of The Lion” has been the Hess Family credo for nine generations. The 2014 vintage marks the second vintage that is a winemaking collaboration between consulting winemaker Celia Welch and Hess Winemaker Dave Guffy. "In this vintage of The Lion Cabernet Sauvignon, I find the nose filled with generous aromas of blue and black fruits – blackberry, blueberry and a hint of dark chocolate.
