A saturated ruby/purple color is followed by gorgeous aromas of scorched earth, volcanic rock, graphite, camphor and creme de cassis. Rich, pure, complex and still youthful, this sensational, under-the-radar wine merits significant attention. Already revealing its terrific terroir and complexity, this may turn out to be a spectacular Cabernet Sauvignon in several more years. It should age for another 20-25 years. Drink 2013-2038.
